Consignment Terms & Agreement

Treats & Treasures is a resale and consignment business offering new and pre-loved items through our website, LIVE sales & other selling platforms.

Throughout this agreement, Treats & Treasures will be referred to as “we,” “us,” or “T&T,” and the consignor will be referred to as “you,” "your."

1. Item Acceptance & Item Requirements

All items are accepted at the sole discretion of Treats & Treasures. We reserve the right to refuse any item.

To maintain our boutique standards, all items must be:

• Clean, pressed/steamed, odor-free & in good condition, and suitable for resale.
• In excellent working condition 
• Free of stains, tears, pet hair, smoke odor, missing buttons, broken zippers, or defects

We do not accept items that require repair or do not function as intended.

Items requiring batteries must include working batteries at the time of drop-off.

Items may be listed across our website, selling platforms, and LIVE events.

2. Ownership

The Consignor confirms they are the legal owner of all items submitted and have the right to sell them.

Consignors are responsible for ensuring all submitted items are authentic. 

3. Pricing

All pricing is determined by Treats & Treasures based on brand, condition, demand, and market value.

However, consignors are welcome to prepare, tag and price their own items to receive 
50% of the final selling price when items are sold locally and will receive 40% of the final selling price when items are sold online and require shipping. 

**All items must be prepped, tagged with your consignor number and priced to sell at time of drop off.

Please Note:

We strive to offer affordable pricing for our customers and ask that all items be priced accordingly to support successful sales.

Seasonality may impact how quickly an item sells (for example, winter items may not sell during warmer months).

4. Consignment Period

Items will be held for a period of 90 days 

At the end of the consignment period:

• Consignment items remain active for an initial period of 90 days. After this period, items may continue on consignment at a reduced price to encourage sale.
• Items not claimed within 30 days after the 90-day consignment period may be donated or disposed of if prior arrangements have not been made with Treats & Treasures.

5. Commission & Payment

Consignors receive 50% of the final selling price when items are prepared/tagged/priced by the consignor & sold locally and will receive 40% of the final selling price when items are sold online and require shipping. 

If Treats & Treasures handles prepping/tagging/pricing, consignors receive 40% of the final selling price when sold locally & 30% of the final selling price when items are sold online and require shipping. 

Payments will be:

• Payouts are issued on the 15th of each month for items sold in the previous month.
• Payments are issued monthly via check. Checks may be picked up in Statham or mailed upon request for a $1 processing fee.

6. Unsold Items

It is the Consignor’s responsibility to retrieve unsold items within 30 days after the consignment period ends unless other arrangements have been made.

 Any items not retrieved within 30 days after the consignment period expires shall be considered abandoned and become the property of Treats & Treasures Resale Shop LLC without further notice or compensation.

7. Liability

Treats & Treasures Resale Shop is not responsible for loss, theft, fire, water damage, accidental damage, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Final Sale

All sales are final. No returns or refunds are offered.
